When you install the Warm Window® insulated shade system, you are actually adding a very effective insulated cover to windows for year-round savings and comfort.  The 5-layered insulated shade with magnetically sealed edges has been offering the greatest energy savings in window treatments since 1980.  The 5-layered shade fabric is covered with a decorator fabric of your choice to compliment any decor. 

This system has an R-value rating of 7.69 over a single layer of glass.

Warm Window® insulated shades are carefully engineered to combat all four major causes of heat loss.

1.  Conduction is reduced by trapped deal air spaces between the fibers and layers of insulated fabric.

2.  Infiltration is reduced by the impervious polyethylene and tight magnetic edge seal.

3.  Convection is reduced by the magnetic edge seal.

4.  Radiation is reduced by the reflective Mylar which reflects radiant heat back into your home and also reflects solar gain in the summer.

Warm Window® fits any size window including sliding glass doors, bay windows and angle cut windows.  Warm Window® increases the R-value of a single glazed window from R-1.3 to R-7.69, showing its outstanding insulating capacity.
